VINEYARD´s intervention at HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING & BIG DATA 2017 in London

The presentation addressed the following topics: 
- Accelerating financial, bioinformatics and database applications using hardware accelerators
- Reducing the energy consumption of large data centres and cloud applications
- Allowing seamless deployment of hardware accelerators through convention frameworks such as Spark

The overall objective of the event was to showcase the latest advances in the pioneering technologies and practices which are revolutionising computational research across the public and private sector.
